Lighthouse is dedicated solely to the Newfoundland breed, selectively breeding for correct type, temperament, soundness, and longevity. We have been dedicated to breeding ‘typey’ Newfoundlands that adhere to the standard since 1997.
The Newfoundland dog is gentle in nature, loyal and majestic, wonderful with children and other pets. Our goal is to continue to produce lovely Newfoundlands for family companions, conformation, therapy and water work, while focusing on health and longevity. Our puppies are always raised in our home, a rural country setting with 5.5 acres of land. We do pre-screen all potential new owners before consideration.
